Catherine Surprenant most recently starred as Mae in Maebe, an LGBTQ+ short film that follows two teenagers trying to figure out their feelings for each other through difficult challenges.
Next, Catherine becomes Lucienne, the daughter of a French farmer in a film following Canadian soldiers during WWI. The Ace and The Scout by Aaron Huggett set to be released in 2021.
Later this year, Catherine also lends her voice to Princess Catherine a character in Debra A. Cole’s audiobook New Traditions.
Catherine's passion project Stand Up, a film about struggles women encountered in the 60s, will begin filming in 2020 with Catherine starring as Donna.
Catherine has appeared in Play On! as Violet, The Tobacconiste as Shayla and La Fabulous Histoire d’un Royaume as one of the three ghosts (one of the 9 speaking roles out of the 150 people cast).
